my dad, my sis n I wen 2 Vietnam/Hanoi on 15 -19 June 2007.
our flight was at 1005, and we reached dere, at the airport at 0800 as we need to check in our luggage. i was very nervous when the airplane was taking off as this in my second tym, after so long.

we arrived at Hanoi at ard 1235. Then we took our luggage n wen to check in in our hotel.
We stayed in 5* Sheraton Hanoi Hotel. Its abt 25 mins journey frm the airport.
after we check in, we relaxed for awhile in our rm. my sis n I started camwhooring in our rm n especially in our bathrm. =D

den we went to Angkai(nt sure wats the spellin) its abt 10 mins journey frm the hotel and we wen shopping dere. the majority vehicle dere ar motorcycles n dere is abt 2 million motorcycles dere. so due to this deres alot of dust all over the place n the ppl dere wear mask to protect themselves frm the dust.

I woke up at 0600,den at 0700 we wen down for our breakfast.
i ate quite alot. it was a breakfast buffet, so i ate everything dat i see. =D
at 0830, we proceed to the bus and travel by road to Halong Bay. the journey was 4 hrs long. we had a 20 mins break in the middle n stop at this factory place for tourist to shop. they sell loads of things lyk traditional customes,food, jewllery n list goes on.
we will b staying overnight on Bai Tho Junk/Boat;the traditional sailing junk.

Halong Bay; Ha means Descending and long means Dragon wen these two words put together, it says Descending Dragon.

we had seafood on board!! DELICIOUS!!

Wake up to fresh wholesome breakfast before cruising back to Halong City.En route the junk weaves through strange-shaper rock formations that invite comparisons from fighting cocks to dragons and even General de Gaulle's nose! Then after another wonderful fresh seafood lunch on board disembark at the dock at Halong City.

In the evening, we attended Gala dinner at the Hotel(Gala buffet). The theme for dat night was 'Mystical Night'. we had alot fun as well and the food was great!
during the game session, my dad won S$200 wen he played the 'Human Jackpot'.
we oso won 7th prize in the lucky draw. we won $300 cash and $250 starhub voucher.

Buffet breakfast in the hotel. In the morning, a city tour of Vietnam's capital. we went sight seeing at Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum(exterior), the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. lastly, a cyclo tour through the Old Headquarters for one hour.

Buffet breaksfast. at 1030 proceed back to the airport and HOME SWEET HOME!!!
